The most popular semi permanent makeup treatment is the eyebrows. Microblading is the technique of implanting individual hair strokes using high end pigments. This technique can create a natural fluffy or structured brow in a two step process 6 weeks apart.

A patch test will be carried out at your consultation along with an in depth chat about your eligibility for this treatment. This is determined by your medical history and skin type.

On the day of your appointment I design your brows using a mapping technique. We will pick your brow colour based on your desired outcome, complexion and undertones.

Pre-treatment

​

• - Patch test needed beforehand

• - Do not take aspirin or ibuprofen for 2 days before

• - No alcohol 24 hours before

• - Avoid caffeine 24 hours prior to your appointment

• - Refrain from sunbeds and sun exposure 2 weeks before

• - Refrain from waxing at least 48 hours before treatment

• - Eyebrow tinting to be done 7 days before

Aftercare

The first day

Proper care following your treatment is crucial to achieve the best results.

​

​Please remember that the colour is up to 50% darker immediately after the treatment.  They will start to become lighter after 5 to 7 days. The true healed colour will not come through until approximately 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment.  During the healing process, the colour may seem to have disappeared as it is obscured by the healing layers of skin.  Under no circumstances should you have any further permanent cosmetics work undertaken during this 4-6 week period.

Daily aftercare routine

Follow this routine for 14 days following the treatment.

​

• Always wash your hands before applying the balm provided to you as part of your aftercare.

• Use a damp (water) cotton pad to clean your face for the first 5 days in the PM. 

• Do not get your brows wet for 14 days. If the area gets wet, gently pat dry using clean lint-free tissue.  Do not rub. 

• Apply Your balm twice daily for the first 5 days. You should do this using a clean cotton bud for each application (this will prevent cross-contamination).
